No, no unagi. The grass jelly is what turns off Jack and Mary the most. It is greyish black, so unlike any gelatin that they've ever seen. I can't really describe the flavor, it's definitely different. I thought the coconut jell and jackfruit, with its light syrup will give the jellies some flavor, as they came unsweetened.
As far as Asian stores, I do go to Pacific Ocean. It is the closest one to our neighborhood. When I feel rambunctious, I go further to 74th and Federal--- there is a little Asian store there that has items that Pacific Ocean do not carry and better prices on the items they have in common.

I might definitely taste them! As long as there is no unagi in them! I don't mind the taste of unagi, it's the thought that puts me off! So call me weird!

V, which Asian store do you shop at? Is there one that is closer than Pacific Ocean in Broomfield?
