Pinay mom parenting her Caucasian/Filipino daughter in suburban America.
Thanks to Indian Food Rocks for doing a post on Click, a monthly photo contest. Otherwise, I would not have known about it. The theme for the month of November is Noodles.
This is my entry.
I had wanted to send in a photo of MY favorite noodle dish= “1B” - Combination Vermicelli Noodle Bowl at my favorite Vietnamese Restaurant.

Mary is my "I'm Not a Baby!" daughter and this is my blog about her and our life in suburban America. Parenting tales, our travels and travails, forays into great and not-so-great restaurants, kitchen adventures--- all chronicled with as much photos as you can stand. Comments are very much appreciated --- let me know you dropped by! Thank you.

She did enjoy her soup. And whenver I have the photo up on the computer, she wants to go to the restaurant.

V, is this the restaurant right next to Pacific Ocean Market? If it is then I’ve heard that their Pho is the best in the area! We should go there together!
Mary looks like she’s really enjoying her soup! In the last pic (purple scooter girl) I wondered if you’d cut her lovely locks.
I’m so glad you decided to participate in Click! Yay for you and Mary!

Yes, it is that Pho restaurant right next to POM in Broomfield. And you right, it is the best Pho in the area. I’ve tried a few other ones (like the one by Safeway at Coalton Rd. and another one in the same strip as POM) and Pho Duy is the best.
Let’s go together sometime.
And no, I did not cut her hair, she’s got most of it under coat collar— keep that neck warm. No haircuts for this girl for a while, she wants to grow it long.
