Pinay mom parenting her Caucasian/Filipino daughter in suburban America.
I started Friday Fun Food Find last week and already I have to miss one, today. Yes, it is that dreaded phrase — “technical difficulties” — in my case, it’s something to do with rechargeable batteries and Jack’s camera….
Instead, let me share this drawing that Mary did today. To get her off my back lap so I could check out other people’s blogs and comment on them, I allowed her to draw on MY sketchbook. “Why don’t you make a drawing of your family?”
When she finally made me look, here it is…

Mary is my "I'm Not a Baby!" daughter and this is my blog about her and our life in suburban America. Parenting tales, our travels and travails, forays into great and not-so-great restaurants, kitchen adventures--- all chronicled with as much photos as you can stand. Comments are very much appreciated --- let me know you dropped by! Thank you.

At least she is very comfortable with the human form. She might have a future as a figure drawing artist!

That is fabulous! Isn’t it great what kiddos are thinking. Very direct. No beating around the boob, I mean bush.
