Pinay mom parenting her Caucasian/Filipino daughter in suburban America.
My dad!
Yes, I won the DVD! I won Wish: A Group Writing Project!
I want to thank all those who voted for my entry and who said such nice words about it and my writing. My sister is still in a turmoil of her own making and she is getting out of it. I’m hoping she could refer to my Walk with Me post from time to time and know that her Ditse is always thinking about her and wishing the best for her.
I also want to thank pulse for hosting the Contest as well as making the difficult decision of awarding the prize to the deserving winner. I was not the most “popular” entry as far as votes went.
Now, all I have to do is get MY own copy of the Princess Bride 20th Anniversary Special Edition so I can enjoy it with my Dad.

Mary is my "I'm Not a Baby!" daughter and this is my blog about her and our life in suburban America. Parenting tales, our travels and travails, forays into great and not-so-great restaurants, kitchen adventures--- all chronicled with as much photos as you can stand. Comments are very much appreciated --- let me know you dropped by! Thank you.

Manisha, Happy New Year to you, too! See you at Mini-poms
Amy, Thanks. I noticed that you had been MIA… How was you Christmas? Just been trying out this new theme— still a work-in-progress. I do not know enough HTML and CSS yet to make it look and work the way I want it.

OMG! I didnt know it was the Princess Bride! I thought it was The Princess Diaries… hehehe… I love the Princess Bride. Hilarious movie, and cute, with Fred Savage as the kid that is being read to!
Thanks for your post dearest sister… will keep that in mind.
Cant wait to come home and watch it with dad though.

You’re welcome MarysMom. I’ll send it out next week, just letting the Christmas rush ease up a bit. Will send you tracking details when I do.
