Pinay mom parenting her Caucasian/Filipino daughter in suburban America.
The best way to get in touch with me, MarysMom or the sweet little Mary is via THIS PAGE. Leave a comment and we will email you back. Promise. How’s that?
If you happen to be Amador Buenaseda III, Notre Dame, Class of 81— I saw you once in high school during career week at OLGA — please contact me.
Or if you are Bogie J— I sat next to you one summer at UP, you flicked your pencil eraser crumbles onto my lap — leave a comment if you want your class card for ES 13.
Or, seriously, if you are Angie D, my first boyfriend’s cousin with whom I spent the best summer in New York any single girl can ever want— I NEED to hear from you.
Mary is my "I'm Not a Baby!" daughter and this is my blog about her and our life in suburban America. Parenting tales, our travels and travails, forays into great and not-so-great restaurants, kitchen adventures--- all chronicled with as much photos as you can stand. Comments are very much appreciated --- let me know you dropped by! Thank you.

Mary’s mom,
Thanks for stopping by the ol’ blog! My daughter is 2. Her brothers ane 9 and 7, and I would say they even have a “Sleep Pattern” as of yet. Annoying? Yes. End of the World? Certainly not.
Thanks again! Mr Lady

The P.O.O.P. group is an 8 week competition. Basically, you compile teams of four - ya’ll commit to weigh in on the same day every week and be honest! You only report your difference, not your actual weight. We get points for eating a serving of fruits or veggies, drinking 64 ounces of water a day, exercising for 15 minutes. And we have to lose one pound a week - or everyone on the team owes $1. We do it all by e-mail and there is a worksheet I could send you - you could also do it on your own. It is amazing how motivating it is when you see what you are doing - on paper!

Hi Mary,
I am traveling with my husband to the Philippinos. On his previous travel, his contact there sent back a gift for me. Is it proper for me to give a gift to them when I visit or wait until they visit the states?
Thanks for your help.

Oh my gosh!!! I just now saw the email invite. I never use that hotmail account, I just had to set it up so I could have the messenger. Where did you get that address?? My main email is mickey6281@aol.com
Well.. now I’m very sad and disappointed that I missed the party! :0( Laura told me on Mary’s last day that you all were moving and she was very sad. I couldn’t believe it. I had no idea!! So I’m very very sorry we missed the party. How did it go? Big turn out??
Laura says that you guys moved back to Iowa? Is that true? What part? I am from Cedar Rapids and we go back to visit sometimes. I’m sure that next time we visit, Laura would love to see Mary again. She is lonely and says that she doesn’t have anyone to play with at school anymore. I feel bad for her. She even stayed home the other day from school because she was fighting w/ me not wanting to go.
Well let me know how things are going with you. Please respond to my AOL account only.
Hope to hear from you soon!!!
Amy
